Everybody wants to fit in - it's a fucking game Everybody wants what everybody else wants 'til we're all the same You can have it These expectations are intolerance in disguise It's like groping through the dark for a manuscript Of 50,000 lies You can have it You piss away your trust into bigger things And you grow up in a hurry And all your friends and relatives keep telling you That there's no reason to worry 'Cuz someone will always be there To stab you in the back You can have that crap Everybody's got a secret - keep your surface clean You pigeon hole by decimal code With flawless expertise You can have it I don't want it You can have it

You keep me company when I'm alone You light up the whole damned room when I turn you on I send you signals by remote control You're one of several billion and I love you so You keep me entertained when I'm bored You know so much about everything I can't go wrong Even when you're good you're bad and you know the score You're 'round the clock comfort that I can't ignore Baby baby baby, you're my one true friend Baby baby baby, one true friend Even when you make me mad, I just flip you off And you don't mind because enough's enough And it won't be long 'til I have to see you You're my friend and companion You're my color TV Baby baby baby, you're my one true friend Baby baby baby, one true friend
